Scott Gross

Hi! My name is Scott Gross and I would like to take a few minutes and tell you a little about myself. I was born in Big Spring, Texas in April of 1960. Shortly after I was born, my family moved to Austin, Texas, where my dad started his own plumbing company. We lived in Austin for 16 years before moving back to Big Spring. My dad ran a good plumbing company and I was soon introduced to the family business. I started at the bottom of the ladder and was given more responsibility as I learned the profession.

Being part of the family business and working with my father gave me a firm understanding of what it means to work hard and take pride in your work. I worked for my dad until I moved to Lubbock to attend college at Texas Tech University. I graduated form Texas Tech with a degree in Landscape Architecture. I then made the move to Amarillo to work for a builder's supply company.

I learned that the most important things you can do with any job you have ahead of you, in your personal relationships, or spiritual life, is to be open and honest with yourself and the people you are dealing with. Be sincere with what you do and what you say. Work with integrity in all aspects of your life. When you do these things, good things will always come your way. I have learned from life experiences to always be prepared and grateful for everything in my life, especially my family and time with them. I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Southern Painting representative in this area, and am especially excited about working with the people in the Panhandle, serving all of your painting needs.
