Is your home being attacked by bugs? If so, we have a great solution for you! Bug Juice is a paint additive that eliminates unwanted pests on interior and exterior surfaces. Just add to any oil or latex-based paint, stain or sealant to create an insecticide- treated surface that kills bugs on contact for protection that lasts.
The mild winter and hot summer that we experienced in Texas unfortunately means that insects are thriving and our homes need more pest control. At Southern Painting, we turn to Bug Juice when homes have problems with insects building nests around the house, especially on porches and patios. This contact pesticide controls bugs in storage units, restrooms and garbage areas too. It is also guaranteed not to affect your paint or the finish in any way, and it will last as long as the coating itself.
We know that you didn’t call us for pest control, but at Southern Painting, we can help make any painted surface a fortress against insect infestation. Bug Juice is the only product of its kind to receive an EPA registration for interior and exterior applications. It is odorless and environmentally safe and can even be used in pantries and kitchens.
The main ingredient, deltamethrin, is among the most popular and widely used insecticides in the world. It kills cockroaches, wasps, weevils, ants, mosquitoes, silverfish and many other crawling and flying insects on contact.
“You just mix it in with any oil or latex-based paint or stain and then apply it to any interior or exterior surface within 3-4 hours,” Cassie Rothstrom, CEO, Walla Walla Environmental, Inc. said. “The insecticide itself migrates to the surface of the coating and kills just about any bug that lands on it.”
After it is applied, there is little maintenance required. It is recommended that you hose off the treated surface with water twice a year. This provides a clean surface for insects to land on.
So next time you paint your home be sure to ask your Southern Painting representative to apply this paint and pest control solution in one. Bug Juice on, bugs off!
